Deletion and Export in Clawco Sky
English translation of the Danish text. If the two versions differ, the Danish text applies.
Effective from: 2026-11-02
Your content is yours. You can take it with you, and you can delete it. You do not have to ask us for permission, and you do not have to write to us. This page says how, and what happens afterwards.
Export: take everything with you
You can export at any time while your instance is running.
- Sign in at konto.clawco.work and choose "Hent alt, hvad Clawco har om dig" (get everything Clawco holds about you).
- Press "Lav mit link" (make my link). The link works for 24 hours and only while you are signed in as you.
- Press "Hent zip-filen" (get the zip file). You get one zip file with your account, your subscription and your invoices, and if you own a Clawco, everything in it.
Inside your Clawco you can also open "Hvad Clawco ved om dig" (what Clawco knows about you) and press "Hent alt" (get everything). Then you get what lies in your Clawco.
What lies in your Clawco comes as clawco.zip: the same kind of folder that Clawco uses when you run it yourself, at home or in your own cloud. Clawco is free and under the AGPL-3.0 licence. What you put in yourself comes with it. Keys, passwords and logins are never included, so you must enter your model keys again.
Export costs nothing and is not limited in number. If the file is very large, it may take a few minutes before it is ready.
Deletion: delete your account yourself
You can delete your account at konto.clawco.work under "Slet konto" (delete account). If you have not signed in within the last 5 minutes, we ask you to sign in again with your passkey or a link by email, and you type your email address to confirm, so that no one deletes your things by mistake. The page offers to let you get everything first.
If you own a Clawco, you delete it and everything in it, also for the others in your household. Invitations, where others get their own account, do not exist yet. When they come, a member can delete only their own account, and the household continues for the others.
What happens, and in which order
| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Day 0 | You confirm the deletion. At once your instance is stopped and its volume is deleted. No one can sign in. Your model keys and sessions are removed. Your email address, your country, your language and your passkeys are deleted. We take no more backups. You get a receipt by email. |
| Within 30 days | Your backups expire, and the key that can open them is destroyed. After day 30 your content no longer exists with us. In beta, backups are not yet switched on. |
| 5 years | We keep accounting records (invoices and payments) because the law requires it. The Danish Bookkeeping Act requires 5 years after the end of the financial year (section 12). They hold only what is needed: name, email, amount and date. None of your content. |
What remains is only an account number without an email address, with the versions of the terms you said yes to, your Clawco's random name (so it is never given to someone else), and a receipt for the deletion. None of your content.
A deletion cannot be undone. We use backups for operations, not to restore an account you have deleted.
When the subscription ends
You do not have to delete. If you cancel, the subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for. In the beta we do not stop or delete your Clawco automatically, neither when you cancel, nor when the free 14-day trial ends without a subscription, nor when a payment fails and is not put right. We write to you before we do anything to it, and you have at least 30 days from that message to take out your data. If we delete it, the timeline above follows from day 0.
The timeline in days
- Export: at any time while your Clawco exists, and for at least 30 days after our message that we will stop or delete it.
- Instance stopped, volume and account data deleted: day 0.
- Backups expired: at the latest day 30 after the deletion.
- Accounting records: 5 years after the end of the financial year.
Your rights
You have the right to erasure under GDPR Art. 17 and to move your data under Art. 20. Write to [email protected] if you cannot get started. We confirm the deletion in writing if you ask. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
