Terms of Service for Clawco Sky
English translation of the Danish text. If the two versions differ, the Danish text applies.
Effective from: 2026-11-02
1. Who we are
Clawco Sky is run by Henrik Lambert (a private individual, no company), company no. no CVR number (not VAT-registered; registers when the legal threshold is reached), Banevænget 13, 5270 Odense N, Denmark. You can write to us at [email protected]. In these terms "we" means Henrik Lambert (a private individual, no company), and "the customer" or "you" is the person who creates the account and pays.
Clawco Sky is for private use. You must be at least 18 to create an account and buy a subscription.
2. What Clawco Sky is
Clawco Sky is Clawco, hosted by us in the EU. Each customer gets their own isolated instance. No one shares an instance, and no instance has a public port. The product inside the instance is the same as the one you can run yourself.
You can also run Clawco yourself, at home or in your own cloud. That is free and is covered by the AGPL-3.0 licence, not by these terms. These terms apply only to the service we host.
Clawco reads, sorts and suggests. Answers and suggestions from a language model can be wrong. You decide what happens.
3. Account and household
You sign in with a passkey or a link sent by email. There are no passwords. You must look after your email and your devices. Tell us at once if anyone else can get in.
In the beta there is one person per account: you. Sky Husstand has room for up to six people, but invitations, where others get their own account, do not exist yet. We send no invitations for you. When they come, we update the terms first, and you must agree to the new terms.
Children cannot be added yet. An account is for people aged 18 and over.
4. How you may use the service
You may not:
- use the service for anything unlawful
- attack, overload or try to break into the service or other customers' instances
- share your account with people outside your household or resell access
- use the service for business purposes
- load the service far beyond what ordinary private use needs
If you break the rules, we can stop your instance. We write to you first, unless it is urgent for security reasons. You can always take your data out, see Deletion and export.
5. The three limits: our promises
Clawco has three limits, and they also apply in Clawco Sky:
- The agent never pays for anything.
- The agent never writes to other people. It does not send email or messages on your behalf.
- The agent never deletes anything without your explicit yes, every time.
The limits are built into the code itself, not only into instructions to the model. The code stops an action even if the model proposes it. Clawco Sky offers no way to pay, send or delete on your behalf. Requests between members of the same household inside Clawco do not count as messages to others.
The limits do not mean that suggestions are correct. You must read what you say yes to.
6. Models
Your own key. By default you use your own key for a language model. You pay the provider directly and you are responsible for the provider's terms and prices, including whether your subscription with the provider may be used this way. Your key is stored in an encrypted file in your own instance. Today you can choose Anthropic (USA), OpenAI (USA), GitHub Copilot (GitHub, USA) or OpenRouter (USA), or a model you run yourself (LM Studio or Ollama). Your instance sends the parts of your content that the model needs to read to the provider or address you chose. That happens under your agreement with the provider, not ours.
Included model. The add-on does not exist yet. When it comes, you can add "included model". You then get a monthly amount of model use through our own keys, with a fixed cap. When the cap is reached, the model stops, and we charge nothing more without your yes. Unused amounts do not carry over. The add-on has its own price, which you see before you buy. In that case the model providers become subprocessors, and we add them to the list of subprocessors with 30 days' notice.
7. Subscription and prices
You can choose Sky Solo (one person) or Sky Husstand (room for up to six people, see section 3). Prices are shown when you choose a plan and again at checkout, before you pay. They are whole prices: we are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added. You pay month by month or year by year. Payment goes through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
8. Free trial
You can try for 14 days without a card. When the 14 days are over, your subscription is put on pause until you choose a plan. Your account page shows this. In the beta we do not stop or delete your Clawco automatically. We write to you before we do anything to it, and you have at least 30 days from that message to take out your data.
9. Renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the same price, until you cancel. We do not yet send a reminder before a renewal. Your account page shows the date of the next payment.
You can cancel whenever you like, with the "Cancel subscription" button on your account page. You do not need to call or write to anyone, and you confirm only once. You get a confirmation on screen and by email. You can also write to [email protected], and an email is just as valid. The subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for. You get no refund for a period already begun, unless the law or these terms give you the right.
If a payment fails, Stripe may try to charge again under the rules we have set up there. Your account page shows that the payment is missing and has a button to fix the card. In the beta we do not stop or delete your Clawco automatically because a payment is missing. We write to you before we do anything to it, and you have at least 30 days from that message to pay or take out your data.
10. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you buy a paid subscription (Danish Consumer Contracts Act sections 18 and 19). You withdraw with the "Withdraw from the agreement" button on your account page. You confirm once. We then register your withdrawal and the time, cancel the subscription at once and send you a receipt by email. We refund within 14 days. You can also write to [email protected]; an email saying that you withdraw is enough, and you do not need a particular form.
You can ask us to start right away. When you buy, you therefore confirm:
- that you expressly ask us to start the service immediately
- that you know you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided (Consumer Contracts Act section 18(2) no. 2)
- that, if you withdraw after we have started, you pay for what we have provided until then (Consumer Contracts Act section 25)
11. Availability and backup
We do our best to keep the service running. In beta we give no uptime guarantee, and there may be errors and pauses, also without notice. There is no status page yet. Nightly backups are built but not yet switched on in beta. When they are, they are taken every night and kept for at most 30 days. A backup is a safety net, not an archive. Take your own data out when it matters.
12. Changes to the terms
We may change the terms or the prices. We write to you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you disagree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
13. Liability
We are liable for our mistakes under Danish law. Our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the last 12 months, to the extent the law allows. The limit does not apply to intent or gross negligence, or to injury to life and health. We are not liable for a language model giving wrong suggestions, or for your provider's errors and prices.
14. Your consumer rights
Your mandatory consumer rights, including the rules on defects in digital services, are not affected by these terms.
15. Governing law, venue and complaints
Danish law applies. Disputes are decided at the District Court of Odense (Retten i Odense), unless the law lets you use your home law and courts, for example as a consumer in another EU country (Rome I Regulation Art. 6, Brussels I Regulation Art. 18). You can complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board (Forbrugerklagenævnet) through Nævnenes Hus (naevneneshus.dk). The Board only takes cases above a minimum price and charges a complaint fee; the rules are on naevneneshus.dk.
